View Full Version : Can't get CSS selector to work

I'm loving the look of this plugin if I could get it to work properly.

I'm only trying to make Social Gallery to work on one page of my website by entering the CSS class in Social Gallary Settings.

The class I'm entering is .AlpinePhotoTiles_container_class a:has(img)

The page I'm trying to make Social Gallery work for is http://thehorticult.com/instagram-feed/

Hi ryanmb22,

I've just taken a look at your website. Unfortunately the plugin you are using for the image gallery (AlpinePhotoTiles) is displaying the images as '<div>' background images instead of a standard img (<img> tag). This isn't the usual way of displaying a gallery on your website - Social Gallery needs your images to be displayed using a standard <img> tag. You may be able to change this within your plugin settings? Alternatively, you would need to change the gallery plugin used or contact the plugin developer to advise you further.

Try using .AlpinePhotoTiles-link because that's the link class selector being used by the your Old or Default LightBox .

If that doesn't work you Need to RE-Enable the Old LightBox so the CLASS selector .AlpinePhotoTiles-link works again and then HIDE the LightBox completely using css code visislibility:hidden on every element of the old LightBox.

Just a solution if you can't get the Gallery to Load using a proper Selector.

Hi ryanmb22,

Have you managed to resolve this?
